We are now seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Legal Assistant (Full-Time) to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a
Real Estate Legal Assistant who will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in office administration, which is required, while legal real estate experience is considered a significant asset. As a member of our team, you will support our lawyers and work both independently and collaboratively to deliver exceptional service to our clients. The hourly wage offered will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall fit within the Firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal assistance in real estate transactions, including buying, selling, and financing properties.
- Drafting legal documents, agreements, and closing documents.
- Maintain and organize client files and ensure that all necessary documentation is prepared and registered in accordance with legal requirements.
- Communicate with clients, third parties, and other legal professionals in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and office organization.
- Handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications, Skills & Assets:
- Office Administration or equivalent experience is required. Legal Real Estate Experience will be a significant asset and is strongly preferred.
- Experience with LEAP, Unity, Teraview legal software systems is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
